Comic-Con Photos GO!

Here are some highlights from the madness of Comic-Con. It was overwhelming as always, but I look past the annoyances and do my best to have a blast with my awesome comic book making friends. Mission accomplished!

Impressive costumes. I don't think their mom's made these.

The con floor. If you look REAL hard you can spot Rob Ullman and J. Chris Campbell!

Sterling Gates and me (both meaning to look silly)

Flippin' Miyazaki!!!!!!

The amazing and kind John Cassaday and little old me.

Art and Franco's shoulder won the Eisner!!!

Oh, and SO DID WE!!!! The Tori Amos anthology won for best anthology! I think Rantz might eat it.

Dean with the Eisner!

Me with the Eisner!!!

Ming Doyle, me and Dean awaiting our Eisner.

Landry Walker and Eric Jones at a great panel discussing kids/all ages comics.

Oh, and some dude named Terry Gilliam! The movie looks unbelievable. Just no words to describe it.
Also no words to describe how totally wonderful this convention was. A lot of people complain about the crowds (me included) but this was just too much fun to miss.

Congrats on the Eisner win! Looks like you had a blast too which is also woo-hoo worthy :)

Thanks! It was, indeed, more fun than I can describe. Everyone complains about the crowds, which are bad, but if you have a good group of friends it can't be beat.

Yeah, congratulations! That's awesome!

And in my tiredness I thought the "little old me" meant you thought it was a picture that looked like a little, old, version of yourself. I thought I saw that for a moment, no offense.

Yeah. Failure on your part. It was SO great. A lot of good hangout time with cool people. Your presence would have made it even better. Next year, man. Next year!
